John Goff, the Founder and Managing Principal of DaVinci Development Collaborative, LLC, has developed over $4 billion of highly visible and sophisticated commercial real estate development projects throughout the Southeast and United States. He draws upon more than 40 years of experience and has honed a keen ability to lead complex, client-centric, urban, mixed-use projects by orchestrating levels of support and leadership from the boardroom to the job site. John’s key areas of expertise include Strategic Planning, Public/Private Partnerships, Financial Analysis and Pro Forma Development, Conceptual Design Analysis, Overall Senior Project Implementation, Accountability for Project Development, Construction Execution, and Acquisition Due Diligence.

Since its founding in 2014, DaVinci Development, led by John and his team, has worked on notable projects, including the Seventh & Tryon redevelopment in Charlotte, NC—a complex public-private partnership revitalizing a key Uptown multi-block area. Their efforts also include The Stitch in Atlanta, a proposed highway cap project; Waldo’s in the Historic Old Fourth Ward, an innovative mixed-use development; and The Trust at East Lake, a partnership with the Atlanta Land Trust creating permanently affordable housing. Recently, DaVinci collaborated with the Atlanta Police Foundation to develop a cutting-edge campus for training and operational needs across multiple law enforcement agencies.

John and DaVinci Development are proud to have contributed to the North Druid Hills campus of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, one of Georgia’s largest healthcare projects. Spanning 72 acres, the campus features a pediatric hospital, clinic space, a central utility plant, two parking decks, over 20 acres of green space, and miles of walking trails. In a joint venture with the Winstead Group, DaVinci managed the $2.2 billion, 1.8 million square foot master plan, providing expertise in development and construction.

With over 45 years in real estate development, John spent 17 years as Senior Vice President of Development at Cousins Properties, overseeing entitlements, design, and construction for complex urban mixed-use projects. Notable projects include Gateway Village (Charlotte), Emory Point Apartments/Emory Conference Center Hotel (Atlanta), and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights (NCCHR) (Atlanta). John and the DaVinci Development team are now leading NCCHR’s expansion efforts.

John has called Atlanta home since 1996, and he and his wife are currently raising their grandson, Aiden. He enjoys offshore blue water sailing, backcountry horseback riding, and international travel.
