Wesley Woods Senior Living engaged DaVinci Development Collaborative to support the expansion and enhancement of its Wesley Woods Blairsville campus – Simpson Estates. The project is intended to expand senior living opportunities in North Georgia while strengthening the organization’s mission to provide high-quality housing and services for older adults. DaVinci was engaged to guide the project through feasibility, planning, financing, design, and construction.

DaVinci’s work began with Phase I development advisory services focused on evaluating feasibility and establishing a clear development strategy. The team collaborated with Wesley Woods leadership to define project goals and prepare a Project Charter outlining the vision and guiding principles for the expansion. DaVinci coordinated market feasibility analysis, site due diligence, conceptual design development, and stakeholder engagement while assembling the project team. This phase also included preparation of a preliminary control budget and project schedule, financial feasibility analysis, and development of a Development Strategy Plan to support decision-making prior to advancing the project.

DaVinci continues to serve as Development Manager as the project advances through design, entitlements, financing procurement, and construction planning. The team coordinates architects, engineers, consultants, lenders, and contractors while overseeing budgeting, cost controls, and schedule management. Responsibilities also include supporting loan procurement, managing permitting and approvals, administering contracts, reviewing payment applications and change orders, and monitoring construction progress and quality through regular site observations.

Through this integrated advisory and development management approach, DaVinci is helping Wesley Woods advance a thoughtful expansion of its Blairsville campus that will provide new housing opportunities for seniors while supporting the organization’s long-standing mission of service and community.
