The Branson School (the School), a private co-educational preparatory high school, is located just 10 miles north of San Francisco, in the foothills of Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County. Its campus sits in one of the most expensive housing markets in the United States resulting in long, burdensome commutes for much of its workforce. DaVinci Development was engaged by the School to explore potential real estate development strategies for affordable faculty and staff housing options.

DaVinci Development recommended specific strategies, housing types, and locations to fill the housing gap. Interviews were conducted with the School stakeholders and the DaVinci Development team engaged with local market leaders to understand the Marin County market. The final deliverable was an Employee Housing Initiative Report that detailed an overall development strategy for the School to implement alongside recommended next steps.
