Johnson Ferry Baptist Church is undertaking the development of a new worship center and associated campus improvements to support its long-term ministry, congregation growth, and community outreach. DaVinci Development Collaborative was engaged to guide the project from early planning through design, construction, and transition to operations, providing both strategic development advisory and comprehensive development management services.

DaVinci’s work began with pre-development advisory services focused on establishing a clear roadmap for the project. The team worked closely with church leadership to define program goals, identify risks, and develop a project budget and schedule. DaVinci also supported procurement of the design and construction team, coordinated early feasibility analysis and design planning, and facilitated key decision-making processes. This work helped position the Church to move confidently from concept into design while maintaining alignment with project goals and financial parameters.

As the project advanced, DaVinci transitioned into its role as development manager, overseeing final design, construction, and project delivery. The team coordinates architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors; monitors schedule and budget; administers contracts and change orders; and provides ongoing construction oversight and financial reporting. DaVinci also manages project closeout, including punch list coordination, warranty documentation, and transition to operations. This integrated advisory and management approach helps ensure the successful delivery of the Church’s new worship center while maintaining strong stewardship of project resources and alignment with the Church’s long-term mission.
