The Church at Wieuca (Wieuca) is a historic, prominent Baptist Church located in the heart of Atlanta’s Buckhead district with an active congregation and popular preschool, summer day, and after-school programs. In 2020, Wieuca approved a new strategic facility program to sell select portions of its property, resulting in a major renovation and condensing program to its 13-acre campus. Wieuca engaged DaVinci Development to serve as program manager and advocate through the Master plan phase, architectural design, and subsequent construction of the campus renovation. Once realized, Wieuca’s dynamic live-work-play redevelopment will showcase a smaller, nimbler, and welcoming Church, a reimagined educational facility, and inviting community spaces, in addition to being part of a campus including new market housing, Class A offices, and vibrant retail.

DaVinci Development has developed and implemented a construction phasing plan that will allow for continuous operations, including Wieuca’s preschool and after-school programs. This plan will be critical to the project’s success and is at the forefront of DaVinci Development’s management services. In addition, DaVinci Development is partnering with Wieuca to coordinate communications efforts with key stakeholders.
