After several years of contemplation, Central Atlanta Progress and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District (CAP/ADID) decided they were ready to move forward with this transformative project for Atlanta. They trusted DaVinci Development to serve as pre-development advisors for this landmark project.
CAP/ADID has sponsored The Stitch's proposed 14-acre highway cap park over the Downtown Connector. The Stitch will create urban greenspace and development sites, develop a vibrant public realm with interconnected open spaces, leverage access to MARTA rail, and repurpose underutilized assets by creating a new neighborhood.
DaVinci Development completed technical and financial feasibility studies that proved the project is viable on all fronts. Also, the team delivered an Implementation Plan to create a roadmap from stakeholder engagement, governance, approvals, to delivery options to assist CAP with paving a clear path to success. A project of this magnitude requires not only extensive coordination but also extraordinary attention to detail.
At DaVinci Development, we study each phase of a project carefully - from vision to feasibility to concept and even construction. This ambitious project has the potential to redefine Atlanta and is still in the planning phase.
