College Football Hall of Fame

Atlanta, GA

This state-of-the-art attraction honors the past, present, and future of college football. The College Football Hall of Fame came to Atlanta in a very competitive process, and two executives from the DaVinci Development team were selected on prior experience with complex projects and an in-depth knowledge of the Atlanta market. The attraction is unique in that it has over 44 interactive A/V exhibits that fully engage the college football fan in the gameday experience.

The project required extensive coordination of architects, exhibit designers, artists, IT specialists, fabricators, and contractors, just the sort of project orchestration that DaVinci Development thrives on. Included in the project was $15M of scope for a public-private partnership, including a large parking structure, site modifications, and connection to the Georgia World Congress Center. The team worked closely on the acquisition of the property from the State of Georgia, obtained all entitlements, and also developed the initial operating pro formas for feasibility.

The project planning was begun during the Great Recession and was developed and constructed simultaneously with the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, where DaVinci Development executives also served as program managers. Today, the College Football Hall of Fame remains one of the most popular tourist attractions in Atlanta.
