Brad Jacobs' educational background includes undergraduate and graduate degrees in civil engineering, with an emphasis in structural engineering. He attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. After school, he went on to become a structural engineer in Columbus, Ohio, where he earned his Professional Engineering Certification.
Brad started his career as a structural engineer where he was drawn to watching the multiple trades work together to transform designs into reality. That desire to be part of the overall construction process sparked his change from structural engineering into project management. Brad's career as a Project Manager started with a move Charleston, SC, where he worked as an Owner Representative and Project Manager for a commercial real estate development team. Later, Brad moved to Atlanta, where he resides today.
Brad's career in Atlanta has included working as a Development Manager for Sembler, a prominent Real Estate Development firm that specializes in retail and mixed-use projects located throughout the Southeast. At its peak, Sembler, under leadership of Jeff Fuqua at the time, was named Atlanta's top retail developer for eight consecutive years by Atlanta Business Chronicle. From there, I spent over 8 years working with Gude Management Group, a premier provider of community, real estate, facility and infrastructure solutions, including construction program management and consulting services. My most recent experience has been managing the development of the Lakepoint Sporting Community, a sports-oriented development that is taking place on over 800 acres located in Bartow County, GA. Development of this project is occurring in multiple phases and has included mass grading operations, new roadways and utility systems, and vertical development.
