Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Center for Advanced Pediatrics

Atlanta, Georgia

In 2015, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, one of the nation’s top ranking pediatric research hospitals, engaged DaVinci Development Collaborative, in partnership with The Winstead Group, to define and develop a key part of their master plan: a Center for Advanced Pediatrics Medical Office Building to represent 260,000 SF of specialized medical office space, nearly 1,000 parking spaces and 30 acres of inspirational greenspace. Children’s Healthcare notes, “Many patients come to us with complex conditions that require frequent visits to multiple specialists and clinics. This new facility will put complex care specialists, state-of-the-art technology and leading-edge research for outpatient pediatric care under one roof for the first time in Georgia. It will also improve the patient experience and allow families easier access to the specialized, coordinated, multidisciplinary care their children need.” The DaVinci-Winstead group is proud and honored to support this venture.

Using their unique “Investment Checkpoint Approval Process,” the DaVinci-Winstead Group is partnering with Children’s Healthcare on six critical steps:
1) Project Identification (complete),
2) Preliminary Evaluation Phase Approval (complete),
3) Due Diligence Approval (complete),
4) Project Site Plan Approval (complete),
5) Design Development (complete),
6) Building Construction Phase (underway).

At the start of the project, as a Development Advisory service, the DaVinci-Winstead group was instrumental in guiding Children’s Healthcare in their internal project management team selection. Working hand-in hand with the client ensures the owner’s visons are realized while details are delivered.
