Our firm, DaVinci Development Collaborative, is representing a group of stakeholders who intend to contract with a private partner to serve as master developer of a two-block, 6.8-acre site assemblage located in the North Tryon area of Charlotte, NC. The site ("Seventh & Tryon") is bordered by East Sixth, North Tryon, East Eighth and North College streets. The vision for the Seventh & Tryon public-private redevelopment is a new, inclusive and vibrant mixed-use urban neighborhood that will play a catalytic role in the development of the North Tryon area of uptown Charlotte and provide a diversity of housing options. Anchored by the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library's planned new Main Library, the proposed development concept for Seventh & Tryon also includes more than 580,000 square feet of traditional and creative office space; 685 units of market rate, senior and diverse price point housing; a 135-room boutique hotel; and 55,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space. An Atlanta consultant has formally issued a request for qualifications for a master developer to join a public-private partnership for a two-block site on North Tryon Street, a catalyst project for a larger vision for the North Tryon corridor. DaVinci Development Collaborative today released the RFQ on behalf of Seventh & Tryon stakeholders, a group of land owners that includes Mecklenburg County, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, the Charlotte Housing Authority, Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) and the city of Charlotte.
North Tryon between 6th and 8th streets is going to be completely transformed with a project called Seventh & Tryon, and Atlanta-based DaVinci Development Collaborative released an released an RFQ Wednesday. A mixed-use public-private partnership has been proposed for 6.8 acres in Uptown as part of the North Tryon Vision Plan. Stakeholders are Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, Mecklenburg County, City of Charlotte, Bank of America and Charlotte Housing Authority.

Downtown Atlanta planners spent 2017 engaging stakeholders in a discussion about the vision for the downtown area, resulting in the newly adopted Downtown Atlanta Master Plan, a blueprint for the next 15 years of growth and change downtown.
Under the direction of Central Atlanta Progress (CAP) and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District (ADID), the master plan is complete and implementation is underway, said Jennifer Ball, CAP's vice president of planning and economic development.

Bree brings more than 12 years of experience in development management. She has recently been promoted to the position of Principal, Innovation and Operations. It's official: Atlanta's annual New Year's Eve celebration will move to Woodruff Park this year where the Peach will drop from the historic Flatiron Building.
The centerpiece of the new campus is a 446-bed hospital that will cost up to $1.3 billion dollars. It will also include support buildings, a physical plant, more than 20 acres of greenspace and the Center for Advanced Pediatrics, a 260,000-square-foot ambulatory care center that is already underway along North Druid Hills Road.

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is preparing to start construction in 2018 on its more than $1 billion replacement hospital and pediatric campus in Brookhaven.
